The beginning of Otto Haas \u2013 our story<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company OTTO HAAS KG<\/strong> was founded in Year 1946<\/strong> by the visionary, thoroughbred entrepreneur and human Otto Haas<\/strong> in N\u00fcrnberg as a rubber wholesaler and is now one of the most important names in the chemical industry.

In 1951<\/strong> the branch industry<\/strong> emerged and a short time later, the management decided to take steps towards their own production.<\/strong> The first punch was installed, shortly afterwards cutting machines and presses were added.

In 1964, <\/strong>A 15,000 square meter property was acquired in Nuremberg Boxdorf. Four years later, new building, <\/strong>our 6,000 square meters<\/strong> production hall, was built there, which was moved in 1969. <\/strong>One year later, an extension of 1,200 square meters <\/strong>was added.

In 1979<\/strong> The existing warehouse was extended by 1,800 square meters.

Thomas Haas<\/strong> joined the company in 1985<\/strong>, succeeding his father Otto Haas as Managing Partner and continuing his father\u2019s legacy with just as much passion and dedication.

In 1989<\/strong> the first warehouse<\/strong> with 1,000 square meters<\/strong> was built. Subsequently, in 1990<\/strong> The administration building was built and moved.

In the Year 1991,<\/strong> the internal IT department<\/strong> became an Independent company
\u201eHAAS-IT\u201c, a Professional IT consulting specialist <\/strong>Focusing on the development of our ERP system (merchandise management system).

In 1995,<\/strong> the storage capacity was extended with a new warehouse<\/strong> of 3,500 square meters.<\/strong>

In 2010,<\/strong> a Cold store with 2,000 storage areas<\/strong> was built for our sanitary articles.

In 2018,<\/strong> the planned construction of another ware house<\/strong> With 4,000 storage areas for our sanitary articles in Dachsbach was completed.
